Patrick Lennon was born in England and has lived in Thailand, Italy, Mexico and France. After gaining a First in English from York University, he worked for multinational companies in senior sales and marketing roles until signing a multi-book contract for his writing. His first book, Corn Dolls, was published in paperback in 2007, and was listed for the Theakstons Crime Novel of the Year Award. His books have been published in most Commonwealth countries, and translated into Italian, German, Turkish and Dutch. They are also available on Kindle and as audio books.
Today he combines his writing with running his own consultancy business. He is a frequent speaker at readers and writers groups around Britain, and was invited to judge the 2010 Catherine Cookson Memorial Prize. He has been involved with the Reading Festival of Crime Writing and the Henley Literary Festival. He lives in Berkshire with his young family.
